This noble fabric comes from Portugal made from pure virgin sheep wool from the Serra da Estrela, durable and very resistant. It was traditionally used to make the warm and waterproof capes of the shepherds, who walked the mountains of central and northern Portugal.

The extraordinary qualities of the office are due to a unique artisanal manufacturing process: once washed and processed, the wool is installed on the loom to be hemmed (prepared). After weaving, the wool is placed on a crusher mill (pisão), a machine responsible for beating and boiling the wool to make the fabric more compact and resistant.

The fabric is heavy, thick so warm, windproof and ultra strong.
